The introduction of a wind-shield enhanced super-tweeter to the automotive audio environment is arguably a genuine advance in automotive sound system design.

The CDT Audio Stagefront™ UpStage™ series of components implements the extra cross-over point with a system of passive modules and also provides ideal tweeters with various mounting systems.


To implement the design a new high crossover frequency just below 10 kHz using smooth blending crossover slopes and various modular means for critical selection of levels implements the system. The M500XT (11
settings) does the basic work. This add-on module will accommodate any virtually existing crossover or your choice of super-tweeter.

Extremely fine tuning and acoustical correction can also be added with the LP-2 and the SX1000.

In short the super-tweeter A-pillar mounting provides a clean clear raised image without distracting artifacts. The extra frequency division works with a new ultra-tight windshield-referenced super-tweeter mounting system


This new very innovative design by CDT Audio engineers is really a step forward in automotive speaker systems design and engineering.
